How will this Effect us?

Mojo is a Visual Effects Supervisor, Director & Artist with an extensive background in Sci-Fi. He has two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on Star Trek: Voyager and Battlestar Galactica as well as additional nominations for both series.  Feature film credits include “Serenity,” “Jack the Giant Slayer” and “Men in Black 3.”

He will be discussing Visual Effects and AI in two sessions. His first will be Friday at 4pm and the second on Sunday at 1pm. Be sure to check these out!

Free Autographs?!

Shore Leave 44 Freebie!

As many returning Shore Leave attendees know, we negotiate with two of our guests so they will not charge for their autographs. This of course, is limited in many ways, such as one per person (per day), and you have to provide your own 8×10 photo. But this is such a great deal compared to other conventions!

This year, Dina Meyer and Casper Van Dien are our Official Autograph Session Participants! They will sign one FREE autograph on an 8x10 that you provide during the official sessions on Saturday & Sunday. Any other item (or size of photo) will need to be handled at their table and not at the Official Autograph Session.

All guests will be signing at their tables all weekend long. Bring your own items, buy one at the event, or choose from their table. Selfies may be available, but are up to each guest. And some guests may charge extra for items other than 8x10s. Check at each guest’s table for pricing & item policies!

Park and Ride

We have added two additional areas for attendees to park at the Wyndham hotel. On the map, you will see these areas marked in a square as ‘Vendor & Overflow Parking’. The hotel is providing transportation from ALL parking areas during the following times:

Sunday 10am - 4pm

Shore Leave Blood Drive

As you Command!

We're excited to welcome the Red Cross back to Shore Leave! Be a hero and help save lives by donating blood. The Red Cross will be on-site Saturday 9 am to 2pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to schedule an appointment in advance at RedCrossBlood.org using the code: STAT.

If you can’t donate at the convention, you can still take part through our Virtual Blood Drive. Donate at a location and time that works best for you—just use the Virtual Blood Donation link to sign up.

Plus, all participants will receive a pair of stylish red goodr sunglasses! Virtual donors are also eligible if they donate between July 1st and 14th.

Kids Programming at Shore Leave

Come to the Kids Side!

Shore Leave has fantastic activities planned for kids of all ages—not just for the little Siths, but for the Teen Jedis too! Younglings (ages 4–12) won't want to miss the Friday Night Dance Party and Movie Watch Party!

At the same time, Teen Jedis will have their own chill zone—a quiet spot to relax, escape the crowds, and maybe even meet other Padawans their age.
